Creative Director – E‑Commerce Agency

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure end-to-end delivery: You are responsible for your production team delivering reliably every week — and you step in when someone is absent.
- Meet team targets: You know the operational performance goals and help your team achieve them.
- Brief and provide feedback to Creative Strategists: You set the creative direction, brief new clients and onboarding, and provide feedback on scripts and strategy.
- Client support & client calls: You are the primary point of contact for clients in Slack and lead the regular client calls.
- Second escalation for your team: When video editors, content managers or production assistants can't resolve issues with their direct contacts, you handle them.
- Manage team capacity: You recognize when your production team reaches capacity limits and are responsible for hiring and onboarding new team members.
- Continuous improvement: Processes, projects, professional development and training — you continuously develop your production team.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in Performance Creative, Creative Strategy or Paid Social — ideally at a D2C agency or in an in-house e-commerce brand.
- Deep understanding of Direct Response ads and funnels — you must be able to write copy as well as understand what makes effective creatives and funnels.
- Operational strength — you keep track of multiple clients, deadlines and team capacities simultaneously.
- Leadership without ego — you lead your team instead of doing everything yourself.
- Ownership & self-drive — you don't require close supervision; you want to shape things and continuously improve.
- Client orientation — you communicate clearly, professionally and solution-focused with clients.
- Team spirit & a sense of humor — we work closely together, support each other and don't take ourselves too seriously — but always with a performance mindset.
