Receive wood from the saw shop and piece it together with a nail gun along set stringers
Stack finished products by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas
Follow company safety procedures to ensure safety for yourself and others
Achieve high quality standards while maintaining a high volume of finished goods
Build and repair wooden pallets from freshly cut or recycled wood to fulfill customer needs
Repetitively lift pallets weighing approximately 50–75 pounds and perform bending, stooping, walking, turning, pivoting, and standing throughout shifts

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to lift wooden pallets weighing about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, or roofing experience highly preferred
Quick hands, attention to detail, and commitment to quality
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work overtime as needed
Ability to work in extreme conditions, including heat, cold, elements, and air particulates
Ability to repetitively lift up to 50–75 pounds
Ability to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts
Required PPE: eye protection, ear protection at several locations, and safety shoes
Close, distance, and color vision abilities
