About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights
Load and unload materials from trailers by hand
Move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the distribution center
Check loads to ensure they are secure
Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
Coordinate trailer moves within the yard management system
Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress
Communicate regularly with the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager
Work in extreme conditions including heat, cold, elements, and air particulate
Repetitively bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts
Use required personal protective equipment, including eye protection, ear protection, and safety shoes
Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school degree or GED required
Excellent oral and written communication skills needed
Ability to work overtime when needed
Ability to work 2nd shift, Tuesday–Friday, 4:00pm–2:00am
Ability to work in extreme conditions including heat, cold, elements, and air particulate
Ability to repeatedly bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required: eye protection, ear protection at several locations, and safety shoes
Close, distance, and color vision required
Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally
