About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Communicate expectations and goals daily, weekly and monthly to the employees on their shift
Promote a safe working environment and helps ensure Safety Standards are met
Conduct Safety and shift start-up meetings with the employees and establish expectations for them
Accurately complete daily production paperwork
Load and unload materials from trailers
Move pallets or materials on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
Stack pallets or materials in the correct manner, following inventory control instructions
Ensure loads are secure
Perform daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment
Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
Must maintain a clean & safe working environment that meets Relogistics standards
Assist with forklift driver duties, as needed, supplying and retrieving pallets or materials to/from different areas within the warehouse, making accurate decisions regarding the movement of pallets or materials to maximize the efficiency of the location, as well as tracking these movements in a timely/legible manner
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED required
3 years of applicable experience, preferably in manufacturing, supply chain/logistics, or distribution environments, 1 year in a supervisory role
Demonstrated ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural instruction manuals
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Experience in MS Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
Forklift, yard truck, and sort machine certification may be required
