About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Communicate goals, manage staff schedules, and coordinate workloads to achieve facility goals
Maintain quality and safety standards throughout the site
Train and develop associates to ensure they are following company policies, procedures, and standards
Manage customer relationships for site and work in conjunction with the Regional Operations Manager to best service the local customer
Participate in hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and assigning work to new associates
Ensures company policies regarding HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) and HR are followed in conjunction with federal, state, and local employment law
Analyze site data to make continuous improvements in operational excellence
Draft reports, business correspondence, and procedural instruction manuals
Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
Monitor each employee’s performance and workload to ensure expectations are met

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate’s degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED required
5 years of experience, preferably in retail management, distribution, supply chain, or manufacturing environments, and 3 in a Supervisory role
Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System) preferred
Bilingual ability in Spanish preferred
Forklift certifications required
Must possess a valid driver’s license to allow for travel to various company locations, if required by the company
