About the role

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, including cold calling, targeted email outreach, and digital engagement with potential customers.
  • Consistently meet or exceed established outreach and activity goals, including outbound calls, emails, and other prospecting efforts designed to generate new opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain targeted lead lists using CRM data, industry research tools, and market intelligence platforms to support consistent pipeline growth.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline by leveraging CRM systems, trade show contacts, website analytics, social media platforms, ZoomInfo, and historical opportunity data within Logix.
  • Identify key decision-makers within prospective organizations and qualify opportunities.
  • Utilize HubSpot sales tools, including sequences, to creatively engage prospective customers and maintain consistent communication with leads.
  • Manage and convert incoming opportunities including website inquiries, prospect emails, social media requests, RFPs, phone calls, and other inbound leads into qualified sales opportunities.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for inbound prospects by providing detailed information about the pallet services offered by 48forty Solutions and Relogistics.
  • Apply a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs, answer questions, and guide prospects through the early stages of the sales cycle.
  • Coordinate with Plant leaders, Regional Sales Managers, and National Sales leaders to facilitate quoting.
  • Clearly communicate product and service offerings, including key features, benefits, pricing considerations, and payment terms, while assisting with order documentation and related reports.
  • Support the onboarding of new customers by coordinating internally with Plant teams, helping ensure a smooth transition from prospect to active customer and potential initial customer experience.
  • Monitor the status and retention of newly awarded business by maintaining communication with internal teams and helping track customer activity to support long-term account success.
  • Address and overcome objections by demonstrating the operational value and cost benefits of our pallet solutions.
  • Partner with Plant leaders and Regional or National Sales teams to assign leads appropriately, monitor opportunity progress, and support timely follow-up to improve closing rates.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, lead activity, and pipeline updates within HubSpot.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic outreach initiatives and maintain a consistent cadence of prospect engagement activities.
  • Provide responsive and professional customer service that reflects the company’s brand standards and commitment to client satisfaction.
  • Participate in sales training and professional development opportunities to strengthen selling skills and remain informed on market and industry trends.
  • Track and report lead generation, pipeline activity, and conversion metrics using HubSpot.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in an outbound sales role
  • College degree preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrated experience in a CRM (preferably HubSpot)
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and meet sales quotas consistently
  • Strong experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address objections effectively
  • Proven track record in building and nurturing lasting customer relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Strong written communication skills for effective correspondence
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic approach to work
  • Comfortable working individually and collaboratively as part of a team
