About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for assigned clients
- Act as a trusted advisor on people strategy, compliance, and employee relations
- Translate client business goals into practical HR recommendations aligned with organizational culture and risk tolerance
- Advise on recruiting practices, onboarding processes, job design, and workforce planning
- Provide guidance on performance management, corrective action, and employee relations matters
- Support termination decisions, documentation, and risk mitigation consistent with applicable laws
- Partner with internal payroll, benefits, and HR operations teams to ensure accurate execution of HR programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Active HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRMCP, or SHRMSCP) required
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations, compliance, and policy development
- Demonstrated experience in a strategic HR partner role
- Strong working knowledge of multistate employment laws and HR best practices
- Prior work in a PEO, ASO, or managed services environment preferred
