About the role

  • **What you’ll do:**
  • - Design, implement, and maintain **comprehensive test plans **for both legacy and new web components.
  • - Develop and execute **automated and manual test cases** to ensure reliability, performance, and user experience.
  • - Collaborate closely with **developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers **to identify, document, and resolve issues early in the cycle.
  • - Validate **data integrity, APIs, and end-to-end functionality** across the migration.
  • - Champion a **shift-left testing mindset **— integrating quality early in the development process.
  • - Build and enhance **test automation frameworks** to support continuous delivery.
  • - Track and report testing progress, coverage, and key quality metrics.
  • - Continuously improve QA practices, tools, and documentation.

Requirements

  • - 3+ years of experience in **software quality assurance**, ideally within web applications or migration projects.
  • - Strong understanding of **QA methodologies, test automation**, and **Agile development **processes.
  • - Hands-on experience with** test automation tools** such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar.
  • - Familiarity with **API testing** (Postman, REST Assured, etc.) and **CI/CD pipelines**.
  • - Solid understanding of **frontend and backend systems** and how they interact.
  • - Sharp analytical skills and attention to detail — you don’t just find bugs, you find root causes.
  • - **Fluency in Dutch and/or French,** and very good knowledge of English
  • **Bonus if you have:**
  • - Experience with **performance testing** (e.g., JMeter, k6) or **security testing**.
  • - Familiarity with **TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python** for scripting automated tests.
  • - Experience testing **cloud-based** or **containerized environments**.
  • - A mindset that blends curiosity with **pragmatism** — ensuring both quality and velocity.
