About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Showcase 3M product, process and digital solutions and explain how they can increase profitability for bodyshop customers
Support customers across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Taiwan with timely technical and application expertise
Manage relationships with OEM, end-user, and distributor customers
Conduct hands-on product demonstrations and internal and external training for large groups
Collaborate with product development teams, channel partners, and business teams to provide practical customer solutions
Create and implement customer-facing technical collateral and training content
Support and troubleshoot sales professionals and end users with new setups
Conduct field testing and new product evaluations
Test and benchmark the competitive landscape
Contribute to 3M's Environmental Health and Safety culture by following safety policies, identifying hazards, and supporting continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

Related technical diploma or apprenticeship with technical qualifications
Advanced computer skills, including MS Office
Fluent in English
Mandarin Chinese preferred
Current, valid driver's license required
Bachelor's degree or higher in science, engineering, or business is an additional qualification
5+ years of experience in the collision repair industry is an additional qualification
Experience serving industrial markets such as collision repair, paint, manufacturing, OEM, or insurance
Hardware/software experience with automotive calibration and diagnostic equipment
Experience in application engineering, technical service, technical training, and/or technical sales
Excellent written, verbal, listening, presentation, and organizational skills
Ability to analyze, solve problems, and implement solutions efficiently
Strong hands-on product demonstration techniques
