About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement strategies set by leadership to drive new product introductions, promotional programs, and training in the territory.
- Selling 3M products including Abrasives, Tapes, Masking Systems and Safety.
- Supports the retailer/distributor along with the end-user (home improvement trades) to provide solutions to improve job-site efficiencies and training with our portfolios.
- Presenting relevant information and products to customers in face-to-face presentations as well as phone calls or e-mails
- Demonstrating to customers how to use 3M products and how they will add value to their company.
- Willingness to be on call to support your customers’ needs in your geography.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Current, valid Driver’s License
- Master’s degree in business administration from an accredited institution (preferred)
- Three (3) years of territory sales in a private, public, government or military environment
- Presentation skills across many types of customers and end-users
- Strong data analytics and negotiation skills
- Bi-Lingual preferred; English/Spanish
- Experience translating customer needs into creative solutions
- Ability and willingness to prioritize multiple customers, self-motivate, and be held accountable for setting and meeting goals.
