About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identifying and evaluating manufacturing process and equipment deficiencies, drive solutions and determine priority and implement a path to execution.
  • Providing guidance, leadership to plant level personnel in best practices for process and equipment operation as well as preventative maintenance.
  • Providing support towards capital project justifications.
  • Determine equipment and MES improvement priorities to determine the best path forward for resolution including repair or replacement.
  • Using data-based tools and methodologies to identify improvement recommendations and drive appropriate actions.
  • Leading operational excellence at all four IMP mining plants through conscientious management and decisive actions in environment, health, safety, quality, manufacturing, cost, and employee relations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Five (5) year(s) of experience in one or more of the following areas: Engineering or manufacturing technical field in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Five (5) years of experience in heavy industrial operations including equipment maintenance
  • Prior experience in mineral processing, manufacturing process & maintenance of heavy equipment
  • Experience with mining operations and related crushing & screening equipment a plus
  • Strong data and analytics skills
  • Experience engaging with production and maintenance organizations.
