About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee regulatory compliance for hardgoods across EU and UK markets
Lead technical risk assessments throughout the product lifecycle
Interpret and communicate regulatory requirements to teams
Partner with business teams to commercialize product through compliance documentation
Coordinate testing activities with external labs
Monitor regulatory changes in the EU/UK
Support internal audits and external regulatory inspections
Collaborate with teams to resolve compliance issues
Train teams on regulatory obligations and product safety principles
Ensure consistent application of harmonized standards
Implement 3M Product Safety standards, processes, and SOPs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Science or Engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
Five (5) years combined experience in Product Compliance, Product Stewardship, Sustainability, Materials science, Quality, or related Regulatory Affairs role in a private, public, government or military environment
Three (3) years of project management experience
Three (3) years of experience in people management
Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline from an accredited institution (preferred)
Experience working with high-risk applications, global customers, global regulatory bodies, and government agencies (preferred)
Strong project management skills (preferred)
Must be fluent in English.
