About the role

  • Promote the 3M Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) portfolio, with a specific focus on the 3M Speedglas range, to channel partners and end users.
  • Maintain and grow directly managed, priority accounts within a defined geographical region and customer segment.
  • Support the wider business in identifying opportunities for products beyond the PPE portfolio.
  • Deliver customer training on the correct care, use, and maintenance of 3M PPE.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Personal Safety Division and Application Engineers to identify, develop, and execute sales projects and opportunities.
  • Engage with key stakeholders at end-user customers to drive specification and adoption of 3M products.
  • Develop and maintain strong market, industry, and product knowledge.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to proactively develop a pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels
  • Competence in delivering product demonstrations and presentations
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Sales experience in a B2B environment
  • Experience using CRM systems to identify opportunities and manage a robust sales pipeline
  • Good standard of education.
  • Knowledge and experience within the PPE and wider health and safety market
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
