About the role
- Promote the 3M Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) portfolio, with a specific focus on the 3M Speedglas range, to channel partners and end users.
- Maintain and grow directly managed, priority accounts within a defined geographical region and customer segment.
- Support the wider business in identifying opportunities for products beyond the PPE portfolio.
- Deliver customer training on the correct care, use, and maintenance of 3M PPE.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Personal Safety Division and Application Engineers to identify, develop, and execute sales projects and opportunities.
- Engage with key stakeholders at end-user customers to drive specification and adoption of 3M products.
- Develop and maintain strong market, industry, and product knowledge.
Requirements
- Proven ability to proactively develop a pipeline of new business opportunities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels
- Competence in delivering product demonstrations and presentations
- Strong negotiation skills
- Sales experience in a B2B environment
- Experience using CRM systems to identify opportunities and manage a robust sales pipeline
- Good standard of education.
- Knowledge and experience within the PPE and wider health and safety market
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
