About the role

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Manage and motivate a network of third-party sales agents (Manufacturers' Representatives) to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Provide coaching, training, and ongoing support to the sales agents to enhance their performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote products and capabilities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with electronics components distributors to ensure effective collaboration and maximize market coverage.
  • Develop joint business plans with distributors, including promotional strategies, inventory management, and sales initiatives.
  • Monitor distributor performance, ensuring they meet agreed-upon targets and expectations.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including emerging markets, industry trends, and potential customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and product management, to develop and implement strategies for market penetration.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Five (5) years of exceptional sales experience, in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Current, valid Driver’s License.
  • Experience articulating value propositions and system-selling
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Experience developing and managing key accounts
  • Product demonstration experience and competence
  • Strong track record of collaboration and cross-functional teamwork
  • Salesforce.com experience is desired.
