About the role

  • Establish and maintain customer relationships
  • Drive sales growth through in-person and virtual sales, up sell, and cross sell strategically aligned products with regional headquarter accounts
  • Utilize detailed product and market knowledge to aid distribution partners
  • Achieve monthly sales goals while driving sales pipeline health and exceeding sales forecast
  • Develop account relationships, expand planogram presence, and drive 3M solutions with these customers
  • Implement sell-in and sell-out strategies with your accounts to drive planogram execution, promotional plans and new product introductions
  • Manage MDF budgets, terms & conditions, price and portfolio changes
  • Support a broad sales team to deliver on targets and help build & expand brand presence
  • Introduce new products, and communicate promotions to relevant customers and prospects
  • Present and reinforce 3M value proposition

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Three (3) years of Outside Sales or Inside Sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Current, Valid Driver’s license is required, as you will be issued a company vehicle for this position
  • Account management experience is desired
  • Salesforce.com experience is desired
  • Skills include solution selling, listening skills, gain commitment
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to stay on tasks and maintain high productivity levels while working both in-field and home office
  • Previous home improvement / construction related experience preferred
  • The ability to speak English and Spanish fluently preferred.
