Application Engineer

• Providing global support of 3M subsidiary application engineers with regards to hearing protection products
• Supporting current products and New Product Introductions (NPI) including creating user instructions, conducting customer acceptance trials, assisting with claims substantiation and documentation, and understanding and communicating customers’ needs to internal cross functional teams
• Working with global, regional and local customers regarding the proper selection and use of hearing protection products
• Supporting other aspects of the PSD product line including training and education, customer and distributor support and support of global technical service personnel
• Conducting customer training and industry presentations on technologies, product selection and use of PSD products
• Developing customer support materials including written articles, webinars, seminars, posters, datasheets, and technical data bulletins
• Supporting field research studies
