About the role
- Determine directions, priorities, and assign resources with full accountability for results
- Manage sales targets for assigned customers/area(s)/product line(s)
- Identify and define market/product opportunities to meet sales and growth objectives
- Drive growth of 3M solutions at the Nation’s largest military depots and repair facilities
- Own and cultivate senior level relationships at assigned accounts to identify business needs/drivers and position 3M solutions for growth
- Build and execute channel engagement plans that leverage existing government contracts and market trends
- Lead 3M Team members at assigned accounts to foster collaboration in the attainment of sales targets
- Create, maintain, and execute pipeline of opportunities to realize sales targets and metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Three (3) years of account sales experience in a commercial, government, or military environment OR
- Five (5) years of military experience
- Three years of key account sales experience in a government or military environment
- Strategic management of product distribution companies
- Working cross-functionally within a complex matrix organization
- Experience working as a government employee
- Skills include managing through CRM tools, selling skills, and C-Suite sales.
