About the role
- We are seeking an experienced Lead Android Developer to join our team on a contract basis. You’ll be responsible for overseeing all stages of the Android application development lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment. This role involves strategic decision-making, team leadership, and hands-on development.
- Key Responsibilities Oversee the design, architecture, and development of Android applications. Collaborate with stakeholders to align development with business goals. Mentor and lead a team of Android developers, providing technical guidance and support. Optimize application performance and ensure a high standard of code quality. Participate in client discussions and provide technical expertise to aid in decision-making.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Android development, with proven leadership experience.
- Expert proficiency in Kotlin, Java, and Android SDK.
- Strong background in architectural patterns, dependency injection, and unit testing.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
