About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Feasibility studies for PV power plants
  • Preparation of preliminary (conceptual) and detailed design studies
  • PV energy yield (production) studies
  • Performance analysis
  • Technical audits during project financing: analysis of technical design, contracts (EPC, O&M, PPA, grid connection, etc.), permits and authorizations, and technical aspects of the financial model
  • PV plant inspections
  • Assistance to the Project Owner (Owner's Representative)
  • Train and mentor colleagues on PV-related topics, contributing to the continuous upskilling of teams
  • Promote the sharing of technical knowledge and best practices across the group's international offices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You have a solid technical background, complemented by a strong understanding of economic and commercial considerations
  • You have an analytical and critical mindset to help us improve on a daily basis
  • You are creative, innovative and precise; customer-service oriented and always eager to learn
  • Master's degree or Engineering degree in energy systems or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in the renewables sector, particularly solar, within organizations such as engineering consultancies, developers, or IPPs
  • Strong proficiency with PVSyst, AutoCAD, SketchUp (and optionally PVcase)
  • Full professional proficiency in French (native or bilingual) and English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent organizational, communication and teamwork skills
  • Comfortable presenting and enjoys technical, collaborative discussions
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and to visit sites in France and abroad
  • Ability to mentor and develop other team members' skills
  • Knowledge of other renewable technologies: battery storage
  • Field experience: PV plant inspections and construction monitoring
  • Knowledge of Python
