About the role
- You lead discovery and early alignment so teams understand the user, the workflow, and the decisions needed to move forward.
- Plan and lead discovery activities, including interviews, persona validation, contextual inquiry, and workflow observation.
- Facilitate design workshops, co creation sessions, and alignment conversations to drive early decisions.
- Synthesize research into clear problem statements, priorities, and actionable experience direction.
- Identify experience risks early and guide teams through tradeoffs that balance user needs with delivery constraints.
- Use AI tools when appropriate to support synthesis, ideation, and accessibility checks.
- You set experience direction, produce design artifacts teams can build from, validate concepts through feedback, and keep quality strong through delivery.
- Define experience direction through design principles, conceptual frameworks, and experience strategy that guide product vision.
- Create navigation models, user flows, and early concepts that simplify complexity.
- Produce UI concepts, prototypes, and interaction patterns with clear behaviors and states.
- Ensure designs meet usability, accessibility, responsiveness, and consistency standards.
- Validate concepts with users and stakeholders, then translate insights into design and requirement updates.
- Bring a UX perspective into planning, refinement, reviews, and quality validation with QA.
- Communicate insights and recommendations with strong storytelling tied to user and business outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for AI-driven user experiences and help measure user value created.
- You raise design quality by mentoring others, reinforcing standards, and helping teams adopt shared patterns that reduce inconsistency and rework.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in UX design, product design, research, or experience strategy.
- Strong experience executing end-to-end UX activities for modern digital solutions.
- Strong research, synthesis, and interaction design skills.
- Excellent communication and design storytelling abilities.
- Strong ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive user experiences.
- Skilled facilitation of workshops and alignment sessions.
- Highly collaborative and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
- Experience in enterprise environments or consulting preferred.
- Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Miro or Lucid, Dovetail, and user testing platforms.
- Familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps for cross functional collaboration.
- Understanding of front-end constraints and design system usage.
- Experience contributing to design systems, experience frameworks, or design operations is a plus.
