• Ship and iterate on production agentic workflows connecting QuillBot's core tools and surfaces, proving the orchestration architecture under real user load
• Make high-conviction technical bets on the model stack, compute strategy, and agent execution model, with written rationale that the org can build against
• Own the technical point of view on which ICP verticals and workflows justify agentic investment, and drive that conviction into AI, product, and engineering planning
• Inherit and reshape the AI org to match the velocity and scope of what we're building, including hiring where gaps exist
• Design and lead systems for intent recognition, task decomposition, and multi-step execution across QuillBot’s product surfaces
• Define how agentic systems plan, coordinate, and execute workflows across a multi-surface application suite
• Establish standards for agent-native infrastructure, enabling product surfaces to be machine-readable and executable
• Lead research and development across text and multimodal domains, with an initial focus on text and image capabilities

Growth Marketing

• Organic Growth Strategy: Define and own the overarching organic growth strategy spanning SEO, ASO, GEO, and Extension Store optimization. Set quarterly and annual OKRs tied to impressions, clicks, MAU, installs, and sales.
• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop the SEO & Organic Growth team. Foster a culture of experimentation, accountability, and continuous learning. Identify and hire for key capability gaps as needed.
• Roadmap Ownership: Build and maintain a prioritized organic growth roadmap. Balance quick wins with longer-term strategic bets. Present plans and progress to senior leadership, including the CEO.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as the organic growth voice in cross-functional planning with AI, Product, Engineering, Content, Brand, Marketing Operations, and International Expansion teams. Ensure organic considerations are embedded in product launches, site architecture decisions, and content strategy.
• Product Roadmap Influence: Act as a key influencer of the Product roadmap by surfacing organic growth opportunities, user intent data, and search landscape insights that shape feature prioritization, new product bets, and go-to-market timing.
• SEO Program Ownership: Own end-to-end SEO performance across QuillBot’s web properties. Drive strategy across on-page, off-page, and technical SEO to secure and defend top positions for high-value keywords.
• Technical SEO: Lead technical audits and partner with Engineering to resolve crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, site speed, structured data, and mobile-responsiveness issues at scale.
• Content & Keyword Strategy: Oversee keyword research, content gap analysis, and on-page optimization. Collaborate with the Content team to ensure every page is strategically targeted and continuously improved.
• Link Building & Authority: Direct link-building and digital PR strategies to grow domain authority. Evaluate backlink quality and build partnerships with authoritative sites.
• Algorithm Resilience: Monitor Google algorithm updates, diagnose ranking fluctuations, and quickly adapt strategies to protect and grow organic traffic.
• GEO Strategy: Develop and execute a strategy to maximize QuillBot’s visibility in AI-generated answers and citations across generative search experiences (e.g., Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, etc).
• ASO Program Ownership: Own QuillBot’s organic discoverability and conversion rates in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Extension Visibility: Own QuillBot’s presence and discoverability in the Chrome Web Store, Safari Extensions Gallery, Microsoft Edge Add-ons, and Firefox Add-ons.
• Performance Measurement: Build and maintain dashboards tracking organic performance across all channels (SEO, ASO, GEO, Extension Stores). Define KPIs and ensure the team is data-driven in decision-making.

Product Designer

• Drive end-to-end product design, from initial user research and exploration to final pixel-perfect delivery in close collaboration with product managers, engineers, researchers, and senior design leadership.
• Take an active role in designing QuillBot’s browser extension experience for Chrome, Edge, and Safari, contributing to its core capabilities, interaction patterns, and visual design, and shaping how users engage with AI-powered writing directly within web-based workflows.
• Partner with other designers to ensure the browser extension integrates seamlessly with our web app and other product surfaces, creating a unified, consistent, and intuitive user experience across the entire product ecosystem.
• Contribute to and evolve our design language system, balancing reuse of patterns with the thoughtful creation of new, scalable components suitable for the given surface.
• Advocate for user experience by deeply understanding user needs, behaviors, and the broader goals they’re trying to achieve, not just isolated feature usage.
• Craft thoughtful and elegant experiences within the constraints of browser environments, using strong interaction design, clear visual hierarchy, and well-considered micro-interactions, while building a solid understanding of web technologies, extension frameworks, and cross-browser limitations.
• Help nurture a culture of design excellence by actively participating in critiques, mentoring peers, and contributing to team rituals.
