About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate and administer Kubernetes clusters supporting production, development, and local environments
- Own ElasticSearch and Kibana administration, including ingestion pipelines and observability adoption across applications
- Author and review Terraform changes to support engineering initiatives
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Kubernetes
- Educate and inform developers on tools and best practices through demos, documentation, and evangelism
- Participate in on-call rotation (team of 4)
- Mentor and guide team members and influence platform direction through design reviews (Staff level)
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of professional experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering
- Deep expertise with Kubernetes, particularly EKS
- Strong experience with ElasticSearch and observability tooling
- Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Solid understanding of AWS IAM and cloud security fundamentals
- Low ego and excellent written communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in English to effectively communicate complex information
