About the role
- Generate interest in our product offering with companies that result in live and phone-based meetings for our Business Development Managers
- Achieve this through inbound and outbound efforts, targeted account outreach based on industry insights, thorough prospect communication, and personalized messaging
- Manage a high volume of leads at any given time and have sound judgment under pressure while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Ensure effective use of time to meet SLAs
- Research and qualify marketing generated leads
- Plan and execute prospecting activities (utilizing outreach tools, SalesForce, cold calling, and email)
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sellers
- Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
- Report on weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
Requirements
- 3 - 4 years Marketing or Sales related qualification, preferred
- 1 - 2 years sales development or account management experience in a B2B environment - preferably SAAS technologies; IT; or online education
- Ability to multitask, manage projects and work under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- New business development experience would be beneficial
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic data analysis skills
