About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide oversight and take ownership to deliver district financial targets including APBITA, revenue, profit and P&L.
- Understand performance metrics and data including key levers to improve margins.
- Enable ongoing development of Operations Managers via effective evaluations, coaching, goal-setting, and cross-region knowledge sharing.
- Coach and mentor all levels of district colleagues by using available talent tools.
- Invest in district-level staff development by modeling effective ride-a-longs, audits, skip-level conversations, annual reviews, improvement plans, etc.
- Manage recruiting efforts including interviewing, hiring and onboarding to ensure appropriate staffing levels and talent bench strength.
- Lead and drive organization values through quality of service, relationships and teamwork.
- Plan and lead effective team meetings for building camaraderie and sharing best practices.
- Nurture a high performing culture through actions, accountability and feedback.
- Champion change through the "Heart, Head and Hands" methodology.
- Establishes clarity of understanding, cadence of accountability and controlling the controllable.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of field services management experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Business operations experience.
- Business acumen.
- Skill in managing and leading assigned projects - understanding of project management methodology including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, perform resource allocations and run team meetings.
- Skill in written and verbal communications, including public speaking.
- Skill in organization and time management - ability to work on multiple projects and manage multiple project coordinators, leads, and/or managers at one time.
- Skill in group presentations and meeting management.
- Skill in providing clear and concise feedback.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Maintains a valid driver's license.
- Skill with Google suite (Docs, Hangouts, etc).
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, methods, and techniques in the area of specialty.
- Position may require frequent overnight travel.
