Senior Medical Scribe – Charting Virtual Assistant, Part-Time
20four7VA20four7VA seeks offshore Senior Medical Scribe / Charting Virtual Assistant. Role involves supporting a Nurse Practitioner with documentation and administrative tasks.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create accurate and comprehensive medical documentation during or after patient encounters.
- Join phone calls with the Nurse Practitioner and patients to document symptoms, concerns, medical history updates, and treatment notes.
- Receive a list of patients scheduled for the day from the Nurse Practitioner.
- Upload, organize, and maintain patient documentation securely in OneDrive.
- If experienced, assist in navigating PointClickCare for documentation, chart updates, or patient lookup.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient records and sensitive health information.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Senior-Level Experience as a Medical Scribe, Healthcare VA, Nurse VA, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation
- HIPAA Certified (Preferred; highly prioritized)
- Previous experience supporting a Nurse Practitioner or medical professional
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organizational skills with high accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work part-time during mid to late afternoon PST
- Tech-savvy with experience in: OneDrive (required) PointClickCare (preferred but not required)
- Ability to handle fast-paced workloads (20–30 patients/day)
- High integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
