About the role
- Generate creative content ideas and maintain the editorial calendar
- Create, schedule, and post engaging content across multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Yelp, NextDoor)
- Monitor community group postings and respond to potential customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare summary reports to track content performance and engagement
- Ensure all communication reflects the brand’s casual, friendly, and approachable voice
- Manage and update social media accounts, ensuring regular posting and engagement
- Connect with potential customers and build brand awareness for a retail and eCommerce client
Requirements
- Requested Experience Tier Level: Junior Level
- MIN. HOURS/WEEK: 15 hours
- SHIFT TIME ZONE: CST
- SHIFT HOURS: mornings or afternoons of CST
- SHIFT DAYS: Monday-Friday
- LANGUAGES SPOKEN/PREFERENCE: English
- ACCENT PREFERENCE: Neutral
- Strong written English skills with the ability to write in a fun, conversational, and engaging style
- Experience managing and posting on social media platforms
- Highly organized and able to maintain a content calendar
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prepare clear, concise reports
- Previous experience in social media management and email marketing
- Experience with Google Sheets, Facebook & Instagram, LinkedIn, Yelp, NextDoor, Canva
- Independent contractor engagement (not an offer of employment)
