About the role
- Engage with potential patients acquired through marketing initiatives
- Handle appointment scheduling and follow-ups
- Confirm attendance for events and scheduled consultations
- Assist patients with accessing and navigating the patient portal
- Coordinate and schedule appointments as needed (virtual appointments only)
- Respond to patient portal messages (training will be provided)
- Serve as the main point of contact for patients throughout their health journey (system training will be provided)
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines and protect patient privacy at all times
- Complete required HIPAA training prior to handling any patient information (can be provided by the employer if not already trained)
- Post content on company social media channels (content information is already available; the role is to make it visually appealing in Canva using company colors and fonts and post 3 times per week)
- Create simple graphics or posts using Canva (training will be provided; no previous experience required)
- Support general content generation and posting schedules
Requirements
- HIPAA trained (or willing to complete training before start)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable learning simple digital tools such as patient portals and Canva
- No medical background required
- Interested in health and wellness and willing to learn about our health and wellness program to help answer patients’ basic questions on where to find information.
