Key responsibilities & impact

Provide remote and onsite support to Security Contractors integrating 1VALET’s technology
Program, configure, and commission security systems
Communicate with customers, project managers, and internal teams
Update project status in project management software
Escalate and collaborate with the Technical Project Manager and cross-functional teams on complex issues
Take ownership of projects from start to finish

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 5+ years of experience in access control, intercom/entry phone systems, CCTV/IP systems, and intrusion systems (DSC/Paradox)
Bilingual in English and French
Expert knowledge of access control systems such as Salto, ICT, and Kantech
Certified installer experience is an added advantage
Experience with CCTV platforms including Hanwha, Digital Watchdog, Axis, Uniview, and Avigilon
Experience installing and commissioning intercom/entry phone systems
Good understanding of IT, networks, and computers
Hands-on experience with IP networking, VLAN, VPN technologies, RDM, IPsec, SSL, VoIP, and PoE systems
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, cabling drawings, and as-built documentation
Strong background in structured cabling and low-voltage installations
Valid Class G driver's licence with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple priorities
Strong written communication skills for documentation and client-facing updates
Strong troubleshooting, time-management, and organizational skills
