About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound pre-screening calls
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with potential trial participants
- Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology to assess patient information
- Utilize remote communication tools for calls, documentation, and team communication
- Meet or exceed KPIs related to pre-qualified referrals and enrollment rates
- Maintain detailed records of patient interactions and ensure compliance
- Regularly review recorded calls from contractor PCs and provide coaching
- Monitor the PC KPI dashboard for performance metrics
- Deliver structured feedback and escalate unresolved performance concerns
- Review contractor PC timesheets and generate monthly invoices
- Collaborate on process improvements within the PC department
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a call center environment
- At least 1 year in a patient-facing screening role within healthcare or clinical research industry
- Prior supervisory, coaching, or team lead experience strongly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver constructive feedback
- Proficiency in remote communication and productivity tools
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology and clinical trial processes
- Ability to multitask and manage competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- GCP (Good Clinical Practice) certification or willingness to obtain certification
