About the role

  • Support with monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings — you will actively assist in day-to-day operations and learn what really matters in financial reporting
  • Preparation of reports and financial analyses — your analyses provide the basis for informed decisions for business units, managers and other stakeholders
  • Support and optimize intercompany reconciliations — you help ensure that intragroup allocations are accurate, well-documented and delivered on time
  • Analyze data quality in management reporting — you investigate anomalies, analyze accounts and cost centers across the income statement (P&L) and balance sheet, and assist in resolving discrepancies
  • Perform data imports into our LucaNet database — you will take responsibility to ensure our figures are represented accurately, completely and up to date in the systems
  • Contribute to exciting projects in Accounting & Controlling — whether process optimization or tool implementation, you will get involved and help actively develop the area

Requirements

  • You are enrolled for at least two more semesters in Business Administration (BWL), Business Informatics or a related degree program and are already in an advanced semester
  • You can contribute 16–20 hours per week to the Finance team
  • You enjoy analyzing financial data in Excel — pivot tables and formulas are familiar to you
  • Must have: initial practical experience in accounting
  • Ideally, you already have some exposure to DATEV and/or LucaNet
  • You have very good German language skills, both written and spoken
  • You work in a structured, self-reliant manner and enjoy analytical thinking
  • You want to take on responsibility rather than just working through tasks
