About the role
- Develop and execute field marketing and trade activation strategies that drive brand awareness, product trial, and conversion in priority regions
- Build and scale regional college ambassador programs to connect with student athletes and campus communities and foster long-term brand loyalty
- Identify priority colleges, gyms, retail partners, and community opportunities within assigned regions to maximize local impact
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of part-time brand ambassadors to support sampling, retail demos, and experiential programs
- Lead high-impact sampling initiatives focused on ready-to-drink products to drive first trial and repeat purchase in gyms, retail, and community settings
- Build and maintain relationships with local athletes, influencers, gyms, and wellness partners to extend brand reach and credibility
- Evaluate local partnerships and programs, using insights and results to improve and scale successful initiatives
- Collaborate with marketing, PR, and digital teams to produce compelling photos and videos from field activations for social and digital use
- Track and report on key performance metrics, including sampling volume, engagement, retail performance, and overall program effectiveness
- Oversee program budgets, scheduling, and adherence to operational standards
- Serve as a visible brand representative in the field and provide regular insights on consumer, athlete, and customer feedback.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in field marketing, experiential marketing, or trade activation within CPG, sports nutrition, beverage, or athletic/lifestyle brands
- Strong understanding of sports culture and athlete communities, with experience activating brands in these environments
- Proven ability to recruit, train, and manage brand ambassadors or field teams
- Experience supporting retail programs and working cross-functionally with sales and distributor partners
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs and priorities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with comfort engaging athletes, partners, and community leaders
- Creative thinker with a passion for event execution, storytelling, and consumer engagement
- Ability to capture or oversee high-quality photos and videos from live events; social media experience is a plus
- Comfortable using tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM or field management platforms
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and support the physical demands of event setup and activation.
