About the role
- Primarily responsible for customer experience during on-boarding process
- Provide complete ownership and accountability of all responsibilities assigned during customer implementation projects
- Work with project managers to complete assigned tasks
- Complete deployment projects using 11:11 Systems best practices
- Communicate effectively with customers, sales team, and project team
- Document steps taken, problems incurred, and resolution of issues for customer review
- Provide excellent customer service
- Foster communication and transparency through all 11:11 Systems teams and staff involved in the sale and delivery of projects
- Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values
- Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies
- Review and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgements
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience
- 2+ years recent experience as a technical, hands-on, enterprise VMware administrator
- Enterprise customer-facing technical support experience
- Hands-on knowledge of VMware’s vSphere and vCloud Director
- VMware VCA/VCP/VCAP certified
- Cisco UCS experience
- Zerto, Veeam, or DoubleTake experience
- Microsoft server administrative experience (Server, SQL, etc.)
- Technical experience with Cisco ASA, ASR, and Nexus products
- Experience working with global data center environments
- Experience with large-scale virtualization clusters with hundreds of VMs per cluster
- Proven ability to troubleshoot advanced customer issues
- Good understanding of how different technologies work together
- Excellent communicator, high energy, positive attitude, aptitude for professional growth
- Must be legally eligible to work without visa sponsorship
