Threat Intelligence Specialist

• Provide high level security system analysis including proactive policy evaluation and tuning.
• Lead the research and resolution of complex and/or escalations issues, including technical troubleshooting calls with Customer/other Verizon teams.
• Manage complex changes and vendor interaction.
• Creation of security documentation, including policies, procedures, training documents playbooks and operations manuals.
• Liaise with Verizon and customer’s senior management and other Verizon teams on service improvement initiatives.
• Provide mentorship and team lead functions, including supervision of staff, escalation management, and performance appraisal contributions.

Public Sector Threat Hunter

• Proactively search for indicators of compromise (IOCs) and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by threat actors.
• Analyze and correlate security telemetry from various sources, including SIEM, EDR, network logs, and threat intelligence feeds.
• Conduct threat modeling and hypothesis-driven investigations to uncover hidden threats.
• Collaborate with SOC analysts and incident responders to investigate and contain security incidents.
• Develop and refine detection rules, signatures, and threat hunting methodologies.
• Stay ahead of emerging threats by researching new attack vectors, adversary techniques, and malware trends.
• Monitor security alerts and events across the enterprise network, using both traditional cybersecurity tools and AI/ML-powered threat detection systems.
• Investigate and analyze security incidents and breaches, leveraging AI to automate initial analysis and enhance threat hunting efforts.
• Optimize Google Chronicle for log management, threat hunting, and advanced analytics.
• Develop and maintain automated workflows for common security incidents, leveraging AI for intelligent decision-making and faster response times.

Senior Threat Hunter

• Perform complex research and analysis of Navy Federal account activity to identify red flags and suspicious activity in personal and business accounts.
• Perform in-depth risk reviews and document enhanced due diligence, including activity trend analysis.
• Maintain knowledge of BSA/AML history, regulations, and industry guidance.
• Support Business Unit staff in complying with established BSA/AML policies and procedures.
• Maintain familiarity with typical legal business structures and normal activity by business industry.
• Support day-to-day Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) operations, compliance analyses and projects across the enterprise.
• Respond to ad-hoc OFAC related queries and provide subject matter expertise to partner business units when applicable.
• Perform research and analysis of Navy Federal Account activity related to suspicious transactions and identify red flags.
• Create and maintain Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) associated with suspicious account activity requiring more complex research or in-depth investigation.

• Lead open source analysis for CSIS investigations involving fraud, cyber, insider, and other security threats

• Apply advanced qualitative and quantitative analytical methodologies to turn information and data into actionable intelligence
• Anticipate, identify and develop innovative solutions to intelligence gaps

• Use advanced techniques to monitor threats and collect data from multiple open sources, including social media, the deep and the dark web, to support intelligence questions.
• Apply advanced qualitative and quantitative analytical methodologies to turn information and data into actionable intelligence, including but not limited to link analysis and digital footprint analysis.
• Anticipate, identify and develop innovative solutions to intelligence gaps.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders on open source methodologies and tools where appropriate to close identified gaps.
• Deliver analysis and findings in the form of high quality, succinct, and straightforward written products and oral briefings.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a proactive, self-motivated approach, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results while collaborating effectively with global teams.

• The Senior Health Equity Analyst/ Data Intelligence Analyst works with end-user requests to detail moderately to sophisticated business requirements, data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements support of enterprise data intelligence projects.
• Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business/clinical needs and data elements required or available.
• Produces data sets, reports, ad-hoc requests, dashboards, etc.
• Conducts data analysis in support of a variety of analytic solutions.
• Writes moderately sophisticated structured Query Language (SQL) codes and queries. Analyzes complex problems and issues using data from internal and external sources.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of report analysis and development. Triages intake of data requests and seeks an understanding of business needs.
• Applies knowledge of healthcare and critical thinking skills in the analysis of business request and makes recommendations for solution/s to solve challenges.
• Provides sophisticated report and data analysis with the help of team members, vendors, and/or other EIS department contacts; provides quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers.
• Participates in re-engineering, as needed, operational work-flow processes with end-users/business owners.
• Solid understanding of build concepts, Epic migration paths, change control process/governance, and ticket management process.
• Leads and evaluates process and requirements analysis, including process mapping though current flow charts, documents, future needs/plans, requirement elicitation, stakeholder analysis, and specification gathering on complex projects. In addition, using current and projected data, provides recommendations.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for vendor support and assistance for larger and more complex projects as well as in resolving increasingly complex or critical issues in assigned areas. Handles relationship with external vendors.
• Independently provides guidance and leadership on quality assurance and testing initiatives. Demonstrates ability to lead team through complex integrated testing processes. Manages testing projects as necessary.
• Contributes to strategy discussions by proactively identifying options with associated pros and cons with EIS team members and others.

Senior Data Intelligence Analyst – Health Equity

• Build and maintain behavior-based detections that identify adversary activity through sequences, relationships, and deviations across identity, endpoint, cloud, network, and application telemetry.
• Translate attacker techniques, malware behaviors, and adversary tradecraft into testable, explainable, and durable detection logic using a detection-as-code approach.
• Define telemetry, enrichment, and normalization requirements needed to improve signal quality, close coverage gaps, and support scalable detection outcomes in a cloud environment.
• Apply statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and Python-based analytical workflows to develop behavioral models, engineering features, and improve precision detection and operational actionability.
• Validate suspicious behaviors using digital forensics and incident response methods to distinguish malicious activity from benign anomalies, misconfigurations, and expected operational patterns.
• Partner with security operations, incident response, and detection engineering teams to operationalize detections with triage guidance, severity rationale, playbook alignment, and MITRE ATT&CK classification and coverage reporting.
• Use external threat intelligence as prioritization context while ensuring detections are grounded in observable behavior and telemetry within the enterprise environment.

Cyber Threat Hunter

• Appropriately scope, research, and prepare competitive intelligence reports and analysis in response to specific target opportunities
• Conduct Competitive Intelligence research on law firms, industries, clients, and market trends
• Develop Intelligence Briefs (Company Level) and Industry Briefs (Market/Industry Level) by researching individual companies and markets/industries then synthesizing results into summary form, including: company overview and areas of opportunities, industry overview and trends, key contacts and market segments, prospect lists by industry, transactions lists
• Demonstrate ability to transform complex data into actionable business insights through the analysis of large datasets and the effective use of data analytics tools such as Excel and Power BI
• Apply AI-powered research and business intelligence tools to strengthen research capabilities and identify emerging trends and opportunities
• Locate market information for development of client and target lists
• Exercise judgment and accountability in meetings or communicating effectively around deadlines
• Perform highly reliable quantitative and qualitative analysis, projections and plans, presenting interpretations and recommendations to senior management
