Technical Recruiter

• Lead recruiting team on daily activities, reporting, sourcing, interview setup, and selection of applicants for technical positions
• Meet with hiring managers to determine job duties
• Write job descriptions
• Match applicants to job openings
• Source for active and future job openings
• List job postings on job boards, social media, corporate career web sites, and other possible channels
• Call applicants and perform phone screens
• Communicate the nature of each job posting
• Facilitate meeting between hiring manager and applicant
• Participate in final selection of applicant
• Create portfolio of possible candidates for hiring manager
• Perform reference checks
• Perform background checks and initiate drug tests on applicants
• Inform candidate of company's decision
• Compose offer letters and negotiate salary and benefits
• Keep track of all applications and EEO, VETS 4212, and AAP reporting
• Ensure proper compliance and effective outreach programs
• Engage with civic, social, and other groups to provide information concerning job possibilities
• Participate in implementing new recruiting technology such as applicant tracking systems and screening tools

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical roles from intake through offer stage
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and team priorities
• Source and engage technical talent using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and other sourcing channels
• Conduct candidate screenings to assess skills, experience, and role alignment
• Coordinate interviews and maintain consistent communication throughout the hiring process
• Present qualified candidates and interview feedback to hiring managers in a timely manner
• Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), specifically Pinpoint
• Utilize Jira to track recruiting workflows, hiring progress, task management, and recruiting coordination activities
• Support recruiting process improvements and workflow efficiencies within Pinpoint and recruiting operations
• Track recruiting activity, pipeline health, and hiring progress
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines for future hiring needs
• Recruit for government contracting and federal support roles while ensuring alignment with compliance and hiring requirements
• Stay informed on recruiting trends, market conditions, and technical hiring best practices

Technical Recruiter – Contractor

• Owning full-cycle recruiting for engineering roles across the business, from intake and calibration through sourcing, interview process design, offer, and close
• Maintaining a high bar for every hire. We are a small organization, and every hire can make a positive or negative impact on our goals. This responsibility cannot be taken lightly.
• Partnering closely with hiring managers to define role scope, align on candidate profile, and build practical, high-signal interview plans
• Coaching interviewers and hiring teams on structured interviewing, candidate evaluation, and how to maintain a high hiring bar while moving with urgency
• Personally driving outbound sourcing strategy and execution across multiple roles; we do not have dedicated sourcers, so this role is expected to source heavily and consistently
• Managing candidate pipelines with intensity and precision, ensuring strong conversion at every stage from first outreach through offer acceptance
• Creating an excellent candidate experience, especially with high-demand engineering talent who expect responsiveness, clarity, and strong selling throughout the process
• Using AI tools effectively to improve recruiter productivity, sourcing research, communication quality, interview preparation, and pipeline management, while applying sound judgment and maintaining a high-quality candidate experience
