Technical Project Manager

• Support a major enterprise transformation effort impacting core business capabilities across the laboratory, including finance, human resources, procurement, supply chain, data, integrations, and related IT services.
• Support the IT workstream with a focus on the technical aspects of ERP implementation, including SAP S/4HANA, integrations, data platforms, Databricks, SAP Business Data Cloud, application interfaces, infrastructure dependencies, and technical readiness.
• Provide project management leadership across the full project lifecycle using established project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Coordinate activities across internal IT teams, business stakeholders, vendors, system integrators, the PMO, and Organizational Change Management teams to ensure technical work is aligned, tracked, communicated, and delivered successfully.
• Understand complex ERP, data, and integration workstreams; independently track down information; drive accountability; and ensure ERP-related IT activities are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout activities for ERP Modernization IT workstream projects.
• Manage project activities related to ERP technical scope, including SAP S/4HANA, data platforms, Databricks, SAP Business Data Cloud, integrations, interfaces, infrastructure, environments, testing coordination, and technical readiness.
• Develop and maintain project plans, work packages, schedules, milestones, deliverables, resource plans, risk registers, issue logs, and status reports.
• Track vendor and integrator deliverables, coordinate dependencies, and support review and acceptance of project work products.
• Identify, track, and resolve risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and action items that could impact delivery.
• Conduct project meetings and working sessions; document outcomes and ensure follow-through.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, procurement, communications, and stakeholder expectations.
• Translate complex technical information into clear project status, risks, actions, and decisions for technical and non-technical audiences.

Senior IT Project Manager

• Perform requirements gathering necessary to design and build complex Public Safety & Emergency Management systems of enterprise monitoring system for related projects.
• Manage the design of the Enterprise Monitoring Solution meeting Public Safety & Emergency Management needs related to monitoring and alerting requirements.
• Develop and design VISIO or CAD type engineering drawings, bill of materials and technical specifications.
• Plan and coordinate the design of system hardware and software for monitoring systems.
• Manage validation of systems for functionality, performance, fault tolerance and operational readiness.
• Coordinate technical specifications and bill of materials discussions.
• Provide oversight of IT consultants and staff; manage vendor relationships.
• Ensure adherence to PMO methodology and development standards.
• Engage in PMO functions including budget monitoring, communication plans, and risk management.
• Review project artifacts including requirements, UX design, architecture, testing and implementation documentation.
• Manage training plans and future support needs.
• Manage project closeout and knowledge transfer.
• Support process improvement aligned with PMBOK and PSEM methodologies.
• Report project status to senior management and stakeholders.
• Support PMO functions including change requests, scheduling and reporting.
• Address client concerns and manage risks and issues.
• Manage special projects and initiatives.

PSEM Technical Project Manager

• Direct activities of the project team’s execution with a focus on efficiency, quality, and visibility.
• Create and manage leadership visibility aspects of projects such as reporting on budget revisions and project timelines.
• Coordinate project material availability, consumption, and reporting.
• Review new and existing processes for improvement opportunities.
• Anticipate and review resource constraints and demands associated with project execution.
• Serve as point of escalation for all project prioritization and issues.
