Technical Program Manager

• Own the overall delivery success of assigned programs and lead cross-functional teams through planning, execution, launch readiness, and closeout
• Develop, maintain, and communicate integrated program plans that reflect scope, timing, capacity, dependencies, risks, milestones, and key decision points
• Own the end-to-end program schedule, ensuring critical path, dependencies, and execution risks are visible, understood, and actively managed
• Translate product requirements and business objectives into clear delivery scope, program milestones, and product realization plans in partnership with product management and engineering
• Lead new product development programs and related initiatives through the Generac Development Process
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment across all teams contributing to your programs
• Drive program execution with appropriate urgency by identifying blockers, clarifying ownership, escalating risks, and ensuring teams understand the decisions and actions needed to maintain forward progress
• Collaborate closely with engineering, materials, sourcing, quality, manufacturing, and operations to ensure part readiness, build readiness, supplier readiness, and smooth plant builds
• Understand, communicate, and document project budgets and financials, driving achievement of target product cost for Generac and life-cycle cost for customers
• Prepare and deliver clear program status updates for stakeholders and leadership
• Build trusted relationships with cross-functional partners and influence teams without direct authority
• Apply lessons learned from prior programs, identify improvement opportunities, and share best practices that improve program execution across the portfolio

Senior Engineering Program Manager

• Own the domain “system of delivery” and ensure the domain’s work is focused on the most important outcomes, aligned to VC&M strategy, and planned/governed consistently.
• Establish the structures and mechanisms that enable predictable delivery (backlog structure, planning artifacts, governance cadence, reporting hygiene).
• Challenge and de-prioritize work that does not support the strategy or agreed priorities (in partnership with Technical Program Manager (TPM), Product, and VC&M leadership).
• Own the domain backlog structure, PI planning, and the domain delivery plan (scope, milestones, dependencies), within the strategic frame set by TPMs and leadership.
• Prioritize within the domain, with Engineering Manager input, to ensure capacity is focused on the highest-value work.
• Drive clarity for cross-team sequencing and integration planning so commitments are realistic and well-understood.
• Maintain accurate internal risk and dependency registers; actively drive resolution, mitigation plans, and escalation paths.
• Keep Atlassian artifacts and dashboards up to date so domain and program status is trustworthy and comparable across VC&M.
• Provide clear, timely communications to stakeholders on progress, risks, and changes.
• Ensure work has a clear acceptance criteria and a defined value/outcome.
• At completion, validate with Engineering and TPMs whether acceptance criteria were met and whether the intended value was delivered.
• Participate and provide key inputs to the cross-functional work intake discovery process; cascade with context to all impacted functions within your domain.
• Apply and help evolve common VC&M standards for discovery, planning, and delivery.
• Ensure the domain "plugs into" the broader VC&M operating model using shared templates and cadences.

Engineering Program Manager

• own end-to-end delivery for significant, cross-functional capabilities built on Guidewire
• drive scope definition, work breakdown, and system impact assessment
• serve as the technical bridge across all teams in a program
• actively participate in architecture and design discussions
• drive structured stakeholder communication and executive reporting
• maintain program-level risk, assumption, issue, and dependency tracking
• coordinate release readiness across engineering and quality teams

Senior Technical Program Manager

• Drive planning, coordination, and execution of initiatives across teams and departments.
• Track, support, and enable teams to deliver meaningful impact; establish clear metrics and/or milestones to measure success.
• Facilitate and improve - at a program level - the team practices, workflows, and processes.
• Lead capacity planning exercises, identify gaps and make recommendations for resource allocation or escalation as needed.
• Partner with Product and Technology leadership and program stakeholders to align priorities with strategic objectives and operational realities.
• Proactively identify risks, issues, and cross-functional dependencies, and develop management, mitigation or escalation plans.
• Resolve conflicts and ensure smooth collaboration across teams.
• Partner with engineering to evaluate technical tradeoffs, identify architectural risks, and guide decisions that balance speed, scalability, and quality.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as a strategic thought partner by asking the right questions, sensing partnership needs, and fostering productive dialogues.

Lead Technical Program Manager

• Provides support and/or lead teams through the Engineering development process and implementation of company’s products.
• Projects are typically shorter-term, less complex and more contained with a defined time frame.
• Programs are typically longer-term, multi-functional, multi-project with complex requirements and effort.
• Manage activities, resource capability, schedules, budgets, and ensure cross company communications to facilitate product completion on schedule within budget.
• Work with engineering management to identify and improve process and program efficiencies.
• Contributions impact technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainable.
• Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert.
• Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.
• Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for achieving objectives.
• May provide team leadership and mentoring to others.
