Director of Security Operations

• Actively participate in 24x7 operations of the Long View Security Operations Centre
• Monitor, identify and validate security events generated from Security Information Event Management (SIEM) tools
• Actively work in monitoring, event and incident management tools like Sentinel and ServiceNow
• Respond to critical business impacting situations and coordinate the efforts required to engage the proper resources to remediate the issue
• Coordinate major security incident situations and provide internal communications via email in a timely manor
• Provide general support for Security Information Event Management (SIEM) tool changes, tweaks, additions and updates within Sentinel and any additional tools leveraged by Long View
• Provide security guidance to team members across the organization how to best identify, contain and remediate security related incidents
• Understand complex issues across on-premise, public and private cloud solutions and articulate the impact to higher tier team members
• Follow and establish process documentation for receipt of security alerts for monitored devices, acknowledge the receipt of the event, opening and/or updating service desk tickets to track the handling of events to resolution and closure, assignment of the ticket to the appropriate owner
• Work with cloud technologies like Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform
• Fulfill reporting requests that can be pulled from Long View tools

Junior Security Operations Center Analyst

• Zero-Trust System Design: Draft, review, and maintain zero-trust SOPs across identity, device, data, and infrastructure.
• Infrastructure-as-Code & Automation: Extend Net-Sec-Ops pipelines with IaC (Ansible) for firewalls, switches, SD-WAN, and edge fabric.
• Systems Resilience & Disaster Recovery: Architect and automate backup, failover, and DR workflows for all network devices.
• Security & Compliance Orchestration: Integrate vulnerability scanners (Nessus, Qualys), threat-intel feeds, and policy-as-code into CI/CD pipelines.
• Network Configuration & Lifecycle Management: Operate configuration managers to centralize topology, inventory, and device state.
• Cross-Functional Architecture Governance: Collaborate with platform, edge, security, and product teams to embed network security into CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.

Systems Infrastructure, Network Security Operations Engineer

• Collaborate with diverse teams to design, implement, and manage our security and identity platforms.
• Build, integrate, and manage account- and system-provisioning solutions as we continue our journey towards ‘Zero Trust’.
• Work directly with application owners and business users to provide security subject matter expertise and guidance for our security standards and policies.
• Administer Identity and Security operations platforms (e.g., Okta, Active Directory).
• Manage Active Directory implementations and rebuild the ADCS environment.
• Work on various Okta projects and manage permissions effectively.
• Provide Tier 3 support for all Identity/Security Operations related issues.

Senior Identity and Security Operations Engineer

• The InfoSec Ops Senior Associate will handle a variety of operational and program management tasks related to data privacy and information security.
• You will be responsible for handling cadenced tasks (e.g., daily/weekly), high-priority escalations, and some program management responsibilities.
• You will also take ownership of privacy and security readiness efforts for high-visibility launches.
• Your operational responsibilities will include:
• Evaluating vendors’ data collection practices and security postures, working with internal teams and vendor teams to understand the types of data each vendor would collect, communicating Instacart’s security and privacy requirements.
• Tracking and reporting metrics on InfoSec Ops initiatives.
• Assisting with large-scale audit readiness efforts.
• Organizing, coordinating, and tracking cross-functional privacy and security projects involving multiple stakeholder teams.
• Acting as the DRI representing Trust & Safety’s privacy and security operations teams in high-visibility company-wide initiatives.
• Your program management responsibilities will include:
• Building and maintaining workflow documentation.
• Automating and monitoring recurring tasks using AI agents.
• Proactively coming up with ideas to improve operational efficiency.
• Identifying, tracking, and reporting success metrics.

Senior Trust & Safety Associate, Information Security Ops

• Assist with monitoring and triaging security alerts across endpoint, identity, cloud, enterprise, and internal systems.
• Support incident response efforts by collecting logs and evidence, documenting timelines, and helping track follow-up actions.
• Help improve vulnerability management processes by validating findings, tracking remediation, and partnering with system owners on fixes.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of security playbooks, runbooks, and operational documentation.
• Assist with phishing investigations, access reviews, asset inventory hygiene, and other day-to-day security operations activities.
• Support enterprise security initiatives across SaaS, device, identity, and corporate infrastructure environments.
• Help evaluate and strengthen the security of internal AI systems and AI-enabled workflows, including how they are deployed, accessed, monitored, and protected across the enterprise.

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of a 24x7 global SOC using follow‑the‑sun and fusion center operational models
• Oversee real‑time monitoring, triage, escalation, and resolution of security events across enterprise IT, OT, cloud, and edge platforms
• Direct major cyber incident response efforts end‑to‑end, coordinating containment, eradication, recovery, and post‑incident analysis
• Own and continuously optimize SOC tooling including SIEM, SOAR, EDR/MDE, NDR, vulnerability management, and case management platforms
• Drive detection engineering, threat hunting, and intelligence integration to improve alert quality and adversary visibility
• Partner cross‑functionally with IT, OT, Product, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations during high‑impact incidents
• Own SOC KPIs including MTTD, MTTR, detection coverage, and alert fidelity, reporting outcomes to executive leadership
• Lead the SOC technology modernization roadmap including automation, enrichment, and machine‑assisted detection capabilities.
