• Reviews and approves design drawings, user manual and installation manual.

• Leads the team in review, understanding and interpretation of requirements to ensure all specifications are integrated into the design of automation equipment.
• Leads design engineers in review of design and manufacturability of design.
• Ensures all engineering times are logged into JP2 and correspondent to the projects.

Automation Engineer – SMT

• Demonstrates experience in systems design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.
• Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements, workflow and process that will be documented and automated (AS-IS and TO-BE system).
• Design, develop, and test automation workflows using RPA platform (i.e., UiPath, BluePrism, Power Automate).
• Establishes the standards (as necessary) and ensures adherence for source code management, deployment, monitoring, and reporting of all automation solutions.
• Responsible for documentation, training, and rollout of RPA tool(s) across enterprise.
• Participate in a COE Process team consisting of IT and business SME’s.
• Accountable for producing technical design and process flow documentation and present to both technology and business stakeholders.
• Lead the end-to-end RPA and workflow automation (document, design, build, test, deploy, maintain) using recommended best.
• Identify and help measure the value and metrics produced by the automation team and the impact to the business.

Automation Engineer

• Lead automation opportunities from concept through FAT, validation, and production deployment.
• Architect and program PLC‑based automation systems, ensuring scalable, robust controls architectures.
• Own robot–PLC communication strategies, including interfaces, handshakes, safety interlocks, and data exchange.
• Provide deep technical leadership in robot programming and automation software development.
• Troubleshoot and optimize automation systems to improve uptime, throughput, quality, and reliability.

Principal Software Automation Engineer

• Automate the creation and testing of Windows Server templates for virtual machines and physical hardware using a CI/CD pipeline
• Automate the installation and configuration of Windows Server Operating System infrastructure using a multitude of tools such as Terraform, vRA/vRO, Habitat, Chef, Ruby, PowerShell
• Automate manual processes associated with infrastructure deployment via pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
• Provide cross-team support for deploying Windows Server infrastructure to multiple target environments
• Provide technical direction for the Windows Server Operating System platform
• Review and evaluate monthly Windows Security updates for Microsoft Server Operating system and determine a criticality level for each update based on mitigating and environmental factors. Engineer deployment process for High and Critically rated security updates
• Change management

Windows Server Automation Engineer

• Designs automation equipment in respective areas of expertise, e.g., Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, or Software Application.
• Works closely with Project Manager/Engineer to meet project time line and within budget.
• Reviews, understands and interprets requirements/specification accurately for integration into design of equipment.
• Ensures design for manufacturability.
• Acts as liaison with internal and/or external Assemblers/manufacturer of equipment to ensure all parts are manufactured to the design.
• Generates design drawings, installation manual, and user manual.
• Ensures all engineering times are logged into tracking system correspondent to the projects.

Automation Engineer III

Principal Design Automation Engineer

• Design and develop automation solutions for electronics assembly processes (e.g., SMT, testing, inspection, packaging, material handling)
• Create mechanical, electrical, and control system designs, including drawings, schematics, and specifications
• Program and debug PLCs, HMIs, robots, vision systems, and test equipment
• Lead automation projects from concept through installation, validation, and production ramp-up
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing automated equipment to improve uptime, yield, and cycle time
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and process engineers to define automation requirements
• Support equipment acceptance testing (FAT/SAT) and production qualification
• Work with external vendors and integrators on equipment design, build, and commissioning
• Ensure automation solutions meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
• Develop documentation including work instructions, maintenance procedures, and training materials
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost-reduction efforts
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new automation projects.

Automation Engineer II

• Execute assigned tasks in design, analysis, modification, and integration under close supervision
• Apply standard methods, drawings, and procedures to develop solutions
• Prepare documentation, test records, and configuration updates
• Support preventive maintenance planning and interim corrective action
• Collect data, perform basic measurements, and contribute to validation activities
• Adhere to safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Participate in continuous learning and skill development
• Collaborate within team processes and follow established workflows to ensure consistency and reliability in automation engineering tasks

• Assist in developing and configuring control logic for PLC and BMS systems
• Support programming and configuration of platforms such as Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Tridium Niagara, and Ignition
• Assist in developing HMI/SCADA graphics, dashboards, alarms, and trends
• Support integration of third-party systems using BACnet, Modbus, OPC UA, and related protocols
• Assist with basic IT/OT network setup and troubleshooting (IP addressing, subnetting, device connectivity)
• Participate in system testing, commissioning, and startup activities (may require travel)
• Troubleshoot basic system, communication, and network issues with guidance from senior engineers
• Follow established programming and cybersecurity standards and documentation practices
• Assist in developing project documentation, including sequences, as-builts, network layouts, and change logs
