• Execute a global IT strategy aligned with company growth plans. Partner with leaders to drive operational excellence, and scalable processes for employee IT journey.
• Own and refine the end-to-end software and hardware procurement lifecycle. Negotiate enterprise contracts for our internal GTM and engineering stack to maximize ROI and ensure budget predictability.
• Establish data governance frameworks to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance across all internal systems. Partner with the Security team to implement robust zero-trust network policies and endpoint management.
• Build models to evaluate discounting and vendor deal structures, and measure IT service performance using clear KPIs and dashboards.
• Manage the operational challenges of a distributed global team and support local markets with tailored hardware strategies while maintaining a centralized global structure.

Head of IT, Procurement

• Define and implement the global category strategy for Logistics
• Lead complex sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations

Senior Category Manager – Logistics

• Play a key role in Umicore’s evolution from transactional procurement to a strategic, enterprise-wide value partner
• Define and own the category strategy and multi‑year roadmap for Enterprise Services
• Set standards for how Umicore buys within your category (sourcing approaches, templates, governance rules, contracting guardrails)
• Drive sourcing activities and negotiations with key suppliers
• Lead the category operating rhythm (pipeline prioritization, performance tracking, escalation management)
• Ensure compliance, risk control, and alignment with internal stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Risk, IT/Architecture)
• Act as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, balancing enterprise standards with business needs
• Contribute to the continuous professionalization of Procurement, including mentoring colleagues

Category Manager – Corporate, IT

• Take ownership of selected Corporate Services subcategories (such as legal, marketing, facilities, travel, and fleet)
• Translate category strategies into concrete sourcing initiatives
• Support supplier management
• Work closely with stakeholders across the organization
• Lead sourcing and contract renewal initiatives for Corporate Services subcategories
• Manage supplier relationships, performance follow-up, and renewal planning
• Maintain and track category pipelines and sourcing activities
• Support stakeholders by challenging demand and identifying smarter sourcing options
• Work in line with defined procurement standards, tools, and governance

Junior Category Manager – Corporate Services

• Play an important role in strengthening Umicore’s transition from transactional buying towards a more strategic, category-driven procurement organization
• Focus will be category management within the Chemicals domain
• Define and drive category strategies for Chemicals with a multi-year perspective
• Contribute to the standardization of sourcing approaches, governance rules, and contracting frameworks across regions
• Lead or support strategic sourcing initiatives and negotiations with key suppliers in the Chemicals category
• Build a global view of the category, leveraging best practices across business units
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders while balancing category strategy with business needs

Procurement Manager, Chemicals

• Support the development of new and improved own‑brand products from concept through to launch
• Assist in creating product briefs including product specification, quality tier, pricing position, and packaging
• Coordinate actions across teams (Technical, Supply Chain, Marketing) to keep projects on track
• Maintain product documentation, critical paths, and launch timelines
• Help manage products through their lifecycle
• Support post‑launch reviews using sales data, customer feedback, and quality metrics

Associate Product Category Manager – Exclusive Brands

• Work with the Category Manager to implement effective marketing communications that drive Video category performance.
• Initiate requests to execute changes within the ERP system related to stocking profiles, product lifecycle, cost pricing, and inventory actions to remove obsolete stock.
• Research competitive product offerings, market pricing, and industry technology trends by collaborating cross-functionally with Strategic Marketing, Pricing, Sales, Customers, and Vendors.
• Initiate stock balancing requests for IOS (Inactive, Obsolete, and Surplus) products and support execution of inventory liquidation strategies.
• Generate reporting on sales, promotional effectiveness, inventory performance, and gross margin for assigned categories.
• Perform administrative tasks and ad hoc duties as required.
• Liaise with Sales to understand market trends and customer needs.

Associate Product Category Manager

• Lead or support vendor, sourcing and contract assignments, from strategy to execution
• Analyse contracts, risks and commercial structures to identify optimisation opportunities
• Support or lead negotiations and build governance frameworks
• Act as a trusted advisor and sounding board for senior stakeholders
