• Overseeing all aspects of payroll processing for a multi-state employee population

• Overseeing the accurate and timely processing of weekly and semi-monthly payroll for all employees

• Ensuring accurate and timely processing of all payroll deductions
• Overseeing year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing and reconciliation
• Managing and resolving complex payroll issues, discrepancies, and employee inquiries

Director, Payroll

• Leader responsible for market penetration through targeted Payroll campaigns that deliver incremental revenue from new and/or existing clients.
• Manage and achieve their Division’s productive sales goal on a monthly basis while managing and leading a team.
• Responsible for recruiting and interviewing to continuously grow the sales team(s).
• Continuously support employees in the field to best understand their challenges and coach up when necessary.
• Maintain existing/prospective client records, in accordance with company policies.
• Provide status updates to VP and/or SVP.
• Responsible for achieving minimum production requirements, including Install Margin Goal %.
• Lead weekly team meetings and weekly one-on-one with team members.
• Conduct monthly team training sessions.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Payroll Division Sales Manager

• Lead and oversee end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accurate processing, reporting, and compliance across all pay cycles.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, filings, and reporting requirements, including multi-state payroll complexities.
• Oversee accounts payable operations, ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely vendor payments, and strong vendor relationships.
• Oversee annual 1099 processing, ensuring accurate reporting, timely filings, and compliance with IRS requirements.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of three payroll and AP specialists, promoting cross-training, skill development, and operational resilience.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls related to payroll and accounts payable, ensuring adherence to company policies and J-SOX requirements.
• Prepare and review payroll-related journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations as part of the monthly close process.
• Partner with HR, IT, and other cross-functional teams to support payroll accuracy, system integrity, and employee needs.
• Leverage SAP S/4HANA, ADP Workforce Now, and reporting tools to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and process automation.
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements that reduce manual effort, mitigate risk, and enhance overall operational effectiveness.
• Support audits by providing documentation, explanations, and remediation as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Accounts Payable and Payroll Manager

• Process biweekly payroll for 450+ employees across multiple states in ADP
• Ensure accuracy across wages, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and deductions
• Manage payroll tax setup, filings, and payments (federal, state, local)
• Audit payroll data from multiple inputs (HR, benefits, finance) prior to processing
• Maintain and update employee data within ADP
• Serve as the go-to for payroll-related questions from employees and managers
• Monitor integrations impacting payroll (benefits, expenses, etc.)
• Support internal and external audits with payroll data and reporting
• Partner with Accounting and leadership on payroll reporting and reconciliations
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with retention requirements
• Help improve payroll processes, controls, and documentation
• Support training on payroll and timekeeping processes
