Payroll

• Administer, process & validate restaurant level payroll information in line with designated timelines and relevant legislation & statutory requirements (approximate 2000 team members).
• Ensure correct and timely salary and wage payments and attend to payroll queries.
• Run restaurant level reports and reconcile payroll information between HR and Finance systems.

Payroll Officer – 6-month FTC

• Maintain accounting records on Xero up to the preparation of management accounts
• Debtors’ management: actively follow up on outstanding payments from the 7th working day of each month
• Payroll administration: prepare and process monthly salary payments for approximately 30 employees
• Handle statutory submissions, including PAYE and related filings
• General finance and administrative support as required

Finance & Payroll Administrator

• Process payroll accurately and on time, in line with established schedules
• Maintain accurate payroll records, including timekeeping, leave balances, and employee data
• Run validation and quality checks to ensure data integrity
• Assist with payroll reconciliations, audits, and statutory reporting
• Generate payroll reports for management and Finance
• Support benefits administration, including enrolment changes and employee queries
• Ensure compliance with South African tax, labour, and statutory requirements
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience
• Maintain accurate employee records across HR systems
• Respond to payroll and benefits queries in a professional and timely manner
• Partner with HR and managers to ensure data accuracy and aligned processes
• Keep payroll and HR systems (including Paylocity) accurate and up to date
• Support continuous improvement of payroll processes
• Handle confidential employee information with care and discretion
