Network Operations

• Monitor information on all network sites, analyze various network monitoring tools, and identify deterioration of components in the system.
• Act as first tier in alert response and incident/problem resolution for the Cable One network to identify customer and infrastructure impacting issues.
• Perform initial troubleshooting and data gathering to identify and resolve issues in an efficient manner.
• Ensure proper escalation to technology operations teams and local system technicians.
• Coordinate communication and sends status email messages to all stakeholders and Cable One departments to inform of customer impacting issues.
• Maintain a detailed cause and resolutions log of customer and associate-related incidents.
• Ensure that the handover to next shift is up-to-date and communicated at the end of the shift.
• Confirm network events and issues are identified and properly escalated to the responsible management levels.

NOC Technician I

• Vigilantly protect live streams by simulating the experience of a viewer and constantly checking for proper audio, video, closed captioning and picture quality
• Switch the contribution feeds for a game in various languages (on MCR count)
• Monitor commercial playout and modify playlists as needed
• Monitor for system failures or quality issues and execute manual failovers if needed
• Follow along with feed check-in to confirm end to end signal
• Setup and testing of systems with clients prior to becoming a live air event on day of air
• Monitors games and escalate any issues to Supervisor on shift
• Monitor and maintain the continuity and availability of live broadcast
• Count in and out of Studio & Truck segments and commercial breaks
• With the guidance of the Supervisor and Engineers, work as a team to promptly recover from any on-air discrepancies
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to Engineer-in-Charge or providers
• Report and document technical issues including logging of on-air discrepancies
• Operate all broadcast equipment and technology within assigned operating areas
• Proactively engage with Supervisor to develop expertise and learn new skills

Network Operations Center Technician – Broadcast

• Act as a global representative for Hitachi Energy’s Network Manager solutions.
• Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to guide opportunities.
• Coordinate global technical pre‑sales activities and help position Network Manager.
• Support execution of the full proposal process, from concept through customer presentation.
• Serve as a recognized authority for Network Manager, coordinating resolution of technical issues.

Global Pre-Sales & Business Development Leader

• Provide leadership and oversight of Network Services operations, including WAN, LAN, wireless, SD-WAN, and network security platforms
• Oversee daily operational activities, including incident management, problem resolution, and service availability.
• Serve as escalation point for high-priority network and infrastructure issues
• Coordinate and prioritize workload across Network Services teams, including infrastructure and security-focused functions
• Support ongoing and planned initiatives, including: - SD-WAN implementation and optimization - Network monitoring and observability tools (e.g., ThousandEyes, AppDynamics) - Security integrations (e.g., Secure Workload, NGFW, identity services)
• Provide vendor coordination and oversight for network-related services and contracts
• Ensure compliance with Agency security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in change management processes and ensure proper documentation and approvals
• Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineering, Data Center, Telecom, and Security teams to support cross-functional initiatives.
• Provide status reporting, risk identification, and mitigation planning to leadership.
• Maintain documentation of network architecture, processes, and operational procedures.
• Support knowledge transfer and continuity planning for the return of the permanent Network Services Manager.
