Game Engineer

• Build and maintain the avatar movement and core sandbox systems that enable cooperative social gameplay and player expression, while building trust between players
• Build the systems to allow for avatar customization, creating extensible opportunities for player investment and a progression economy, as well as player self expression and customization
• Build compelling gameplay experiences through reusable sandbox mechanics, especially 3C (Character, Camera and Controls) design and implementation
• Create endearing NPCs that improve IP quality, consistency, along with sandbox design principles
• Work with audio, effects, and animation to clearly communicate gameplay affordances to players

Staff Gameplay Designer – Social

• Build and maintain production-quality gameplay systems, workflows, and tools in C++ on Unreal 5 with minimal oversight
• Own and evolve rendering systems in Unreal Engine 5, including lighting, materials, particles, post-processing, shadows, and graphics scalability
• Collaborate closely with artists to prototype and implement stylized rendering features, shaders, VFX workflows, post-process effects, camera techniques, and other expressive visual systems
• Optimize rendering performance across CPU, GPU, memory, and platform constraints
• Investigate and fix graphics, rendering, and visual pipeline issues

Senior Game Engineer – Graphics

• Design, develop, and implement polished gameplay content that demonstrates platform capabilities and new features
• Create example projects such as mini‑games, custom gameplay scenarios, and interactive environments to showcase best practices
• Develop and maintain scripts, configuration files, and content definitions to support custom gameplay systems
• Translate complex technical or platform requirements into clear, working gameplay examples
• Contribute to technical documentation, tutorials, and internal guidance that support external creators
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to validate and refine gameplay experiences
• Analyze gameplay behavior and technical performance to ensure quality, stability, and usability
• Follow iterative and agile development processes, adapting quickly to evolving requirements
• Ensure code, content, and tools meet quality, security, and compliance standards

Gameplay Engineer

• Build and maintain production-quality gameplay systems, workflows, and tools in C++ on Unreal 5 with minimal oversight
• Provide technical guidance to teammates on how to build code and content to work nicely with our simulation and network model
• Collaborate daily with the content creators and engine team to define and develop the blocks used by the content team to build the game
