Financial Planning and Analysis

• Develop a deep understanding of one or more of Zillow’s businesses, key performance drivers, and cross-functional improvement opportunities.
• Become a subject matter expert.
• Drive our annual operating plan including goal setting, performance management, and executive-level monthly/quarterly business reviews.
• Establish and maintain key business metrics (inputs/outputs), and develop sophisticated forecast models to project results and measure gaps to plan.

Senior Strategic Planning Manager

• Own our financial planning and analysis end-to-end, building the reporting, models, and forecasts that leadership relies on to make decisions.
• Automate departmental and executive reporting, own end-to-end. Management reporting (departmental P&Ls, exec dashboards, monthly/board exhibits) runs on durable, repeatable, low-touch pipelines they built — not manual rebuilds.
• Operates the full financial model with minimal oversight and high executive trust. Runs the model you architect — including the revenue line from BI — and owns the expense side outright: opex, margins, variance.
• Architects AI-enabled FP&A workflows, not just uses AI. Systematically cuts manual effort and improves data quality, building processes that outlast any individual analyst.
• Strategic thought partner to leadership and budget owners. Partners directly with department leaders on spend — surfacing variances, flagging risks, bringing a point of view and driving accountability through influence (escalating decisions to you, not approving them).
• Translates the numbers into decisions. Turns variance and business-health analysis into clear, stakeholder-ready narratives that help non-finance leaders move faster.

FP&A Lead

• Partner with internal cross-functional areas such as Sales, Finance, Trade and Reporting to ensure all client requirements are met and supported
• Review and analysis of reporting to identify trends and opportunities, plus quality inspection prior to client delivery
• Solve for opportunities identified through trend analysis – process improvement / strategic projects
• Independently manage client issues and projects with little involvement from leadership
• Triage of Finance specific Aunt Team requests
• Support multiple complex client escalations and projects– requiring 'outside of the box' solutions and ideas
• Conduct 'lessons learned' and feedback meetings post resolution of issues to improve processes for the future, including FOX and CSX support
• Create and maintain issue and project tracking support tools as needed (Milestone Report/CRAID/Agendas/etc.)
• Partner with cross-functional partners to align on client and project expectations
• Escalate appropriately when support is needed or risk is identified, linear and/or cross-functional escalation
• Send weekly meeting agenda and meeting notes 24hrs prior and after meeting takes place

Senior Analyst, Financial Operations

• Heavy outbound calls to prospects and customers to drive bigger deals and more new opportunities.
• Revenue: Develop, realize and maintain incremental revenue by selling and advocating GGS products and services “to”, “through” and “with” prospective customers within specified territory and / or assigned accounts.
• Experience utilizing CRM software to document all sales activity, manage the sales pipeline and identify, track and facilitate closure of key opportunities.
• Maintain on-going relationships with multiple contacts throughout client’s organizations and effectively utilize internal resources to insure smooth delivery of products/ services and payment.

• Supporting the finance function's wider transformation as Cerba Research moves toward full SAP go-live
