• Lead or participate in highly complex initiatives and investigations.
• Investigate, research, examine, and report complex financial crimes transactions, policy violations and suspicious situations with high levels of risk.
• Develop, foster and conduct regular outreach to Law Enforcement to better understand the underlining predicate for Consortium investigations.
• Lead multiple WF and Consortium member bank members to conduct highly complex driven projects.
• Conduct internal WF Consortium and 314(a) predicated investigations.
• File complex SARs with FinCEN on behalf of WF.
• Draft and compile a robust, comprehensive investigative Consortium Report (Joint Analysis) synthesizing your investigative findings, trends discovered and risk concerns for WF.
• Present investigative findings to executive members within WF: to include the BSA Officer, AMLFI Executives, SAR Review Working Group members, Business Advisory Leaders and other internal stakeholders.
• Perform investigative research, root cause assessment and consulting regarding highly complex financial crimes transactions, policy violations and suspicious situations with moderate to high risk.
• Perform detailed examination of data to detect transactional and relationship patterns, trends, anomalies, schemes and risks across multiple businesses or products.
• Partner closely with leadership to develop strategies to minimize financial crime portfolio risk.
• Provide leadership within the team.
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
• Provide executive and business advisory leaders briefings on investigative findings and trends impacting WF.

Senior Financial Crimes Specialist

• Implement and maintain an effective financial crimes program for the company that complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory expectations
• Manage procedures, controls, analytics and trend analysis to ensure proactive identification, prevention, execution, detection, investigation, recovery and reporting of financial crime activity.
• Ensure execution and ongoing management of a mid-size risk based financial crimes program across the enterprise or a risk based financial crimes program across large to mid-size businesses with moderate risk and complexity.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development.
• Provide thoughtful independent credible challenge internally to supported lines of business, across other Corporate Risk programs, and across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers.
• Manage communication and collaboration with business heads, Legal, Audit, and regulators on risk related topics.
• Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Financial Crimes.
• Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.

Financial Crimes Manager – Payments Screening

• Prepares detailed risk profiles for complex clients and conducts periodic reviews of client profiles for renewal.
• May provide guidance to AML/KYC/Prevention support staff.
• Gathers information from independent research, online tools or directly from the relationship manager or client in order to populate risk profiles for new or existing clients.
• Performs due diligence to ensure accuracy of information.
• Reviews profiles for renewal process.
• Reviews work of others.
• Uses developed communication skills to engage in routine conversations with internal stakeholders and complex external clients in order to support an accurate data-gathering process and resolve any open issues.
• Reviews standard profiles that have been flagged and escalated for additional review through QSS real time scans or escalated OFAC Sanctions alerts received on transactional reviews.
• Provides guidance to less experienced AML/JKYC/Prevention support staff.

Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, KYC Representative

• Own and manage complex investigative escalations, including multi‑account and multi‑entity investigations
• Serve as the central escalation point for urgent or high‑severity matters requiring senior leadership awareness or immediate action.
• Ensure appropriate identification of subjects, activity scope, and risk exposure across cases.
• Conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, coaching, and development plans; address performance issues with timely documentation and escalation as needed.
• Build team capability through onboarding, ongoing coaching, and targeted training on typologies, investigative methods, and narrative quality.
• Establish and monitor quality standards; ensure staff follow procedures and documentation requirements.
• Review and challenge investigative analyses, conclusions, and SAR determinations to ensure they are sound, defensible, and well‑documented.
• Partner with QA and Governance teams to identify systemic issues, trends, or control gaps emerging from complex investigations.
• Provide investigative support and coaching to product‑aligned SAM, Fraud, and Sanctions teams.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert on advanced typologies, investigative techniques, and analyst judgment.
• Support responses to regulatory inquiries, exams, and enforcement‑related follow‑ups as needed.

Manager, Advanced Financial Crimes Investigations – BSA/AML & Sanctions Operations

• Conduct compliance oversight reviews of business lines and third parties to assess adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and company policy. Evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and support remediation efforts as needed. Prepare procedures, workpapers, reports, and other supporting documentation.
• Serve as a subject matter resource to help ensure documents, projects, processes, and product initiatives align with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of line-of-business guidance and standards related to AML compliance.
• Partner with business lines and third parties to implement AML initiatives and provide support through training, process documentation, and ongoing consultation.
• Provide advisory support to the first line of defense by answering questions, offering technical guidance, and assisting with issue identification and resolution.
• Support risk and compliance assessments of new or changing products, services, processes, and procedures to help ensure BSA and OFAC requirements are considered and addressed.
• Assist with implementing and improving procedures, tools, and controls in coordination with team members and stakeholders.
• Monitor and help validate compliance with third-party contractual obligations related to service delivery, as applicable.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant financial services products, emerging risks, and the AML regulatory environment.
• Review proposed and existing laws, regulations, and guidance to evaluate potential business impact and communicate key considerations to stakeholders.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.

BSA/AML Risk Analyst II

• Owns the lifecycle management of BSA/AML operational policies, procedures, and standards
• Coordinates BSA/AML training content, deployment, and documentation
• Manages audit, validation, and regulatory exam coordination and response tracking
• Provides governance oversight but does not directly manage alert or investigation production queues

Manager, BSA/AML and Sanctions Governance – Program Enablement

• Perform qualitative and quantitative assessments of all aspects of models including data quality and integrity, theoretical assumptions and methodologies, and performance testing
• assess conceptual soundness and performance of models based on detailed model documentation and testing results
• perform independent testing of model assumptions
• use quantitative tools and techniques to measure and analyze model risks
• evaluate identified model risks and reach conclusions on strengths and limitations of the model
• conduct on-going communication with model stakeholders such as developers, owners and reviewers
• prepare detailed validation reports on quantitative models/tools for internal/external communications and/or regulatory compliance
