• Leading a team that performs exploratory, data-driven investigations to identify emerging financial crime risks, typologies, and network patterns
• Translating intelligence into actionable insights that drive investigative priorities and SAR decisioning
• Partnering with EFCC Financial Intelligence Unit’s (FIU) FIU to convert emerging risk insights into transaction monitoring rules, scenarios, and alerting strategies
• Track and report on impact of intelligence-driven actions (e.g., alerts generated, cases opened, risks mitigated)
• Developing a strong interaction model with industry peers to promote collaboration related to financial crime threats
• Coordinating the intake of financial crime intelligence or the sharing identified suspicious activity with law enforcement
• Providing executive-level briefing to internal and external stakeholders
• Monitoring changes in legal and regulatory frameworks related to BSA compliance

Financial Crimes Investigative Manager – Emerging Risk and Trends

• Maintaining a structured engagement model with law enforcement, peer institutions and industry groups
• Ensuring timely and accurate responses, tracking and metrics related to law enforcement requests
• Managing sensitive projects and relationships
• Engaging with federal, state, and local law enforcement through proactive initiatives
• Representing U.S. Bank as a credible, consistent external-facing leader for financial crimes collaboration

Director of Financial Crimes – External Engagement

• Partners with their assigned Line of Business, other Risk/Compliance/Audit (RCA) professionals, and RCA Managers to, depending on their function, create, implement, maintain, review or oversee an effective risk management framework.
• Participates in projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Identifies gaps and informs solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors.
• Identifies, responds and/or escalates risks as appropriate.
• Serves as a functional liaison between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense.

AML/Fraud Intake – Analyst

• Join a team of Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) analysts focusing on ongoing monitoring, testing, and governance of AML Transaction Monitoring models.
• Partner closely with model owners, Model Risk Management, internal and external auditors, and senior leadership to evaluate model behavior.
• Identify emerging risks and support enhancements to AML monitoring capabilities across the enterprise.
• Perform ongoing monitoring and performance assessments of AML Transaction Monitoring models.
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews and code change assessments for AML Transaction Monitoring models.
• Execute below-the-line testing of model thresholds.
• Prepare and present materials for audiences including senior leadership, Model Risk Management, Corporate Audit, and regulatory partners.

Quantitative Model Analyst 3 – AML

• Investigates, monitors and reports on cases involving potential threats to the Bank to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for filing applicable reports and escalating financial crime related matters when appropriate.
• Reviews and Analyzes system activity and generated alerts in accordance with Financial Crimes Compliance expectations.
• Ability to analyze Financial Crimes and Fraud related triggers related to risk activity.
• Appropriately escalates matters associated with Financial Crimes activity that warrants engagement from supervisory staff.
• Prepares Reports and recommends appropriate follow-up.
• Provides Financial Crimes related Support and Works with the first line of defense for the bank.
• May provide customer support to internal and external customers.
• Works with various business units to understand the Financial Crimes and Fraud alerted activity and to ensure compliance with laws.

Financial Crimes Specialist
