Field Engineer

• The Senior Field Service Technician will be dedicated to and responsible for the State of Louisiana (LWIN) Public Safety System.
• Support the Field Service Organization (FSO) in implementing and maintaining highly technical mission-critical digital mobile communication systems for Government & Public Safety Communications customers.
• Job tasks include but are not limited to deployment, optimization, and repair of infrastructure, public safety loggers, subscribers, microwaves, computers, servers, and network equipment.
• Provide technical support for specialized systems and product applications, including advanced troubleshooting of software-driven electronics.
• Maintain, optimize, test, document, and support complex communication systems.
• Develop solutions for difficult technical problems encountered during system maintenance, upgrades, or support issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Sales, and Customer Service personnel to effectively support advanced communication systems that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Deliver strong knowledge of wired communication systems, such as Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN).

Senior Field Service Technician

• Responsible for new equipment set-up and commissioning
• Troubleshooting and repair for the FUCHS product line
• Create content for, and conduct, PowerPoint classroom training and hands-on demonstrations
• On-site technical support, installation and service for the FUCHS product line
• Understand and educate on equipment designs, specifications and equipment requirements
• Document work and prepare field service reports
• Escalate equipment quality issues to initiate quality alerts and prevent repeat failures
• Provide engineering with field performance data and recommended improvements
• Act as a Fuchs Terex advocate
• Manage time, skills and resources to maximize work volume with minimal errors
• Review reported failures and assist Warranty Administrator with claim evaluation
• Support the Help Desk Technician
• Assist with the display and simulation of equipment and technical presentation
• Assist Training Coordinator with the development and presentation of training materials

Field Service Technician

• Provide customer support for analyzer and measurement systems installed in Pulp & Paper manufacturing process
• Carry out service calls on a preventative and reactive basis as required, undertaking service and repair of products and systems to deliver against customers’ requirements
• Keep accurate records regarding job progress, delays, problems, deliveries, changes, extras, and engineering and fabrication errors
• Report back on the completed service outlining the activities carried out, faults found and any future recommendations for improving the service offering
• Train customer staff in methods to maintain and repair the equipment, to ensure knowledge is transferred
• Conduct audits at customer sites to record and analyze process improvement opportunities

Field Service Engineer

• Delivering an exceptional customer experience while servicing our products in the home.
• Diagnose and repair all major appliances, TVs and A/C units.
• Manage inventory and perform a number of other administrative tasks on a daily basis.
• Travel offsite to customers' locations to perform maintenance and repair of LG's equipment.
• Properly use all safety equipment (PPE), vehicle and diagnostic tools provided by LG.
• Conduct technical diagnosis and perform specialized repairs on a variety of electronics and home appliances.
• Diagnose problems, assess the extent of the problem, document findings, make decisions to repair the product and/or replace parts.
• Process paperwork and perform data entry upon completion of each job.
• Meet or exceed company metrics (customer satisfaction, fix right first time, revisits, parts management, OT %).

Field Service Technician, Appliance Repair

• Travel to customer sites to install, commission, test, calibrate, and train customers on the safe and proper operation of Digital Completions Solutions (DCS) products.
• Perform field upgrades of software and hardware.
• Document and communicate field failures, customer feedback, and improvement ideas.
• Ability to properly communicate and build strong relationships with on-site client representatives and client’s service provider crews.
• Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate equipment inventory on the truck and equipment at client locations.
• Participate in hardware assembly, hardware installation, and R&D testing of DCS products.
• Work schedule is 10 days on, 4 days off for local technicians.
• Willing to work 12+ hours daily during your schedule.

• Willing to be on call.

• The Field Service Technician - Electrical Testing will be responsible for performing electrical testing, maintenance, and repair services on electrical distribution systems and equipment.
• Technicians will travel to customer sites (industrial & commercial) to inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up and collect data of low, medium, and high voltage (480 Volt to 600 kV) electrical systems.
• Responsibilities include instrument transformer tests, power transformer testing, cable testing, automatic transfer switch troubleshooting, and high voltage switchgear testing.
• Rotate emergency on-call duty and if called respond to customer emergencies in a timely manner.

• Lead the budgeting and cost management activities in support of assignments, project teams, and clients on projects ranging from small to moderate size and complexity.
• Ensure the implementation and operation of all required cost control systems, tools, and interfaces for successful project management and reporting.
• Developing the project WBS in conjunction with the Project Leader in accordance with the contract/project requirements.
• Establishing project control budgets in line with the project WBS based on the Client approved Project Estimate.
• Developing a period profile of costs based on the project schedule, performance metrics, forecast labor, contract rates and procurement plans, subcontracts and other third party services.
• Reviewing cost commitment and expenditure information in the cost control and reporting system on a weekly basis.
• Producing regular cost reports and advising management of any forecast deviations as soon as possible to allow appropriate actions to be taken in a timely manner.
• Maintaining a comprehensive accessible register of project changes.
• Updating the Current Estimate and project forecast as appropriate in line with Pending and Client Approved changes.
• Undertaking commercial evaluation of tenders in conjunction with procurement and contracts personnel.
• Liaising with the finance department with regards to evaluation of work done, goods received, and services rendered for invoice preparation and verification.
• Assessing potential commitments in comparison to approved project baselines, prior to formal commitment and highlighting variances for corrective or change management actions.

Project Controls Lead – Cost, Brownfield Engineering

• A Field Service Engineer works independently or with more experienced engineers in performing inspections, tuning, operational audits, pre-commissioning testing on boilers and environmental equipment, and writes estimates and proposals.
• Collecting and evaluating field data.
• Working with customers, account executives, vendors and sublet vendors with assistance and guidance from District Engineer or senior engineer.
• Preparing technical reports including service and special reports.
• Working as part of commissioning teams on project startups
• Performing site activities including: boiler inspections, condition assessments and boiler operation evaluations
• Providing construction technical support and outage management
• Works on estimates and proposals for equipment upgrades
