Drafter

• deliver complete and accurate drafting outputs, including drawings, shop details, and bills of materials (BOMs)
• ensuring high quality and on-time delivery aligned with customer-specific requirements
• Produce neat, accurate, and easy-to-follow fabrication documents that align with design calculations and manufacturing limitations
• Generate precise permit, approval, and erection drawings that comply with purchase order requirements and guide material installation
• Maintain tight project schedules, often accommodating last-minute changes or shifting priorities
• Communicate challenges and project needs to Project Engineers, Design Engineers, and Detailers to ensure timely technical resolution
• Respond promptly to calls, emails, and inquiries from customers, design teams, or manufacturing
• Provide expert-level solutions for field issues and generate the necessary documentation to support customer service
• Continuously enhance productivity, accuracy, and technical expertise
• Support and enforce drafting standards used by production detailers
• Manage multiple complex projects through fabrication and erection phases, balancing overlapping individual responsibilities
• Ensure conformance with defined engineering processes and initiate corrective actions to maintain compliance with quality standards
• Lead initiatives to improve quality, drive innovation, and increase efficiency
