DevOps Engineer

• Join our dynamic Backup Services team as a Site Reliability Engineer
• Work on the exciting cloudification of our backup platform using Commvault technology
• Design and implement reliable, scalable backup infrastructure solutions using Commvault in cloud environments
• Lead new backup platform deployment project
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize backup platform performance and availability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure backup service reliability and disaster recovery capabilities
• Implement automation and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and system resilience
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to maintain 24/7 service availability

Mid Site Reliability Engineer – Backup Services

• Define and implement a modern DevOps and platform engineering strategy aligned with data and AI platform goals.
• Develop roadmaps incorporating AI-assisted development, testing, and operations.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and incorporate them where relevant.
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using AI-assisted tools.
• Implement intelligent quality gates and automated failure diagnostics.
• Build scalable automation frameworks leveraging AI, scripting, and infrastructure as code.
• Analyze and optimize integrations across the Anglo American Data Platform.
• Create and maintain clear documentation, including AI-assisted “how-to” guides and self-service enablement.
• Collaborate with Data Delivery and platform teams to resolve issues efficiently.

Lead DevOps Engineer, Data & AI Platform

• Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Deploying and scaling applications on Kubernetes (AKS)
• Managing infrastructure using Terraform
• Supporting on-premises deployments and integrations
• Implementing monitoring and logging solutions (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana)
• Collaborating with development and QA teams for efficient delivery

Lead DevOps Engineer

• Migrate containerized applications from Docker Compose to Kubernetes (k3s).
• Design, build, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.
• Integrate security controls into the delivery process, including static code analysis, dependency scanning, container image scanning, secrets detection, image signing, vulnerability management, and release gates.
• Support deployment automation, environment promotion, rollback, traceability, and release reliability.
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to improve automation, resilience, and secure delivery practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and runtime issues across CI/CD and Kubernetes environments.
• Document implemented solutions and contribute to good DevSecOps practices across the team.

Senior DevSecOps Engineer – Docker Compose, Kubernetes

Senior DevSecOps Engineer, CI-CD Pipelines

• Maintain public cloud infrastructure by using at least one of the Cloud technology Azure or AWS or Google Cloud (GCP).
• Build and Maintain cloud infrastructure automation (IaC) by using Terraform, ARM Templates or similar.
• Build and Maintain IT automation using tools like Ansible, Chef or managing complex container-based applications like Helm for Kubernetes.
• Build, delivery and deployment by using modern technologies like Git, Git Action, Jenkins, Octopus, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes or similar.
• Build and maintain observability and monitoring across different IT platforms by using Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic, DataDog or similar.
• Oversee all planned outages, assess RCA and assist with major upgrades to ensure minimum downtime.

• Design and maintain a highly reliable and secure production environment, including logging, monitoring, analytics, etc.
• Participate in audits and vendor risk assessments.
• Coordinate and participate in penetration tests and disaster recovery tests.
• Cover part of an on-call rota to provide production support.

Senior DevOps Engineer

• Architect, scale, and maintain self-managed Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and MongoDB clusters
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to design resilient architectures for high-scale, real-time cloud operations
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and security risks, implementing robust solutions with minimal supervision
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for distributed systems through Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD best practices
• Optimize performance and reliability of cloud-native systems, focusing on observability and automated recovery processes
• Mentor team members and contribute to DevOps knowledge-sharing across the organization
