About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP
Perform day-to-day Kubernetes operations
Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Monitor infrastructure health
Respond to alerts and triage production issues
Write and maintain Terraform modules for infrastructure provisioning
Automate operational tasks using scripts and identify improvements
Drive continuous cost optimisation across compute, network, and storage

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with Helm
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with service mesh (Linkerd, Istio)
Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps workflows
Knowledge of ELK/EFK stack
Cost monitoring and right-sizing recommendations
Experience with GCP cloud environments
Exposure to observability - Grafana, Prometheus, APM, Alter Manager
Working knowledge of Python, Groovy or other programming languages
Strong experience using automation tools like Terraform
Familiarity with database operations for MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB
